I have been eating at this neighborhood tonkatsu place for years - typically takeout. One of my favorites in all of Japan and I always share it with visiting friends. I love their kaki fry. Great service and friendly atmosphere.

Great place for tonkatsu, really nice atmosphere

I realized that the mustard served with tonkatsu is there to mask the porky smell. The meat is juicy, but slightly porky. But the coating is delicious! I feel like this is where their skill shows. Whether it is the white light bulbs or the clientele, the atmosphere is quiet and a little lonely.
