I arrived right at open on a Wednesday and was about eighth in line for the second seating. The outside waiting area was covered and they had water to stay cool in the heat. Like many other popular places, they take orders while waiting and I ordered the loin cutlet set meal. I was seated and had my food after about 30 minutes. The tonkatsu was excellent. Very crispy, good pork flavour, and juicy! I always appreciate the extra serving of chopped cabbage for some fiber. The service was friendly. No reservations available so it's the perfect spot for a great meal without too much planning! Well worth the visit and wait if in the area and mood for tonkatsu.
View on GoogleThe food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous. I loved that I could get a refill on the miso soup, rice, and cabbage. The service was top-notch too. It’s a bit pricier than my usual lunch spot, but totally worth it. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleBeen here on a week day at 10:45, was around 7th in line. I guess if you want to get in the first round, you need to be here at least 11:10. I ordered the loin cutlet and it is just what tonkatsu should be. Like a standard of the perfect tonkatsu. It was juicy, not too oily and I finished all. Ordered the chicken separately and it didn’t disappoint me.
View on GoogleFantastic tonkatsu! The pork loin was fried to perfection and had a light crunchiness on the outside, while remaining juicy and tender on the inside. Restaurant staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleThis restaurant is an absolute gem for tonkatsu! Every staff member is extremely kind and attentive. The food is soooo delicious! My tonkatsu pork loin was wonderful and the staff kindly offered extra cabbage, rice, and miso soup. Thank you for a very memorable meal!!
