I visited this space, which is usually closed and only opens for events, during a soba event. The price was close to 2000 yen, but the tempura served had already been fried beforehand, so its temperature and oiliness left a poor impression, and I wasn’t impressed by the taste. The soba dipping sauce was delicious with a strong bonito flavor, but the soba itself lacked presence, leaving the overall balance feeling off. I also wanted to check out the speaker system originating from NY, so I listened to some music, but the interior was extremely reverberant. It wasn’t suited to a small space where people’s voices echo together, so assessing the speakers’ sound quality would have to wait for another time. The design is cool, with a rugged look yet delicate details.

田そば, formerly in Kodenmacho, which closed last year to everyone’s disappointment, is back for a limited time until 2024/10/19 There’s no sign, making it incredibly intimidating to enter, but it’s on the 2nd floor of what people call Famima I’m simply moved to be able to eat it again It really is delicious
