Very tasty. Seating was a bit tight but it’s not the kind of place you stay for a long time. Seemed more popular for takeout. They have a few bench seats outside that you can bring your dog to, but it’s on a fairly busy street with lots of people walking by.

Update: The custard donut is light and fluffy. The custard was like pudding, but the donut wasn't wet. The glazed donut was stale and hard, like failed homemade bread. I went on a weekday after lunch. This location recently opened. It was empty. The menu has a few types of donuts, with English and pictures. I ordered a custard and a cream donut. I wanted to try a curry donut, but they didn't have any and had no plans to make them. I was disappointed. I paid with a card.

THE MALASADA TOKYO Ebisu serves one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. I tried multiple flavors, and each one was fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The service was great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, a clear example of Japanese hospitality. Highly recommended.
