It was a lovely, hideaway-like shop, and my expectations were very high when we were seated. However, a local couple nearby had poor manners (loud conversation, the man using his phone while eating, etc.), which was very unpleasant. What was most disappointing was that the restaurant staff ignored the situation. Because of the noise, I could not enjoy the sushi to the level I had expected. What surprised me even more was the bill. The payment terminal displayed an option for a tip. This is the first time I have been asked for a tip at an Omakase in Japan. I visited with high expectations, but in many ways, it was not the experience I was looking for, which is truly regrettable.
View on GoogleHigh standard of service and very detailed care waiter! The Omakase was carefully prepared with Food very interesting pairing, especially a lot of wines instead of just sake.
View on Googletucked away on the 5th floor, the moment you get in you’re greeted. it was a little tight before they guided us to our room. was not expecting the two of us got our own room with chef kaoru. he was so nice and explained every dish to us. the food was similar but unique. how they had very different take on a lot of the courses was one of my favorite.
View on GoogleMust book for the omakase meal! The food was fantastic. Our chef was very helpful and served with heart and mindful of the pace that you can eat at. Our omakase had around 20 items or more. We took 90 minutes to get to the end. Full to our eyeballs. Recommend. They are on the 5/F. The entrance for is not locked. Be on time!
View on GoogleA splendid and memorable dining experience! I had the dinner omakase and every dish was masterfully prepared by the head chef, who took effort in explaining each dish to us in English ♡ The sashimi was the freshest, the tempera was lightly breaded and not oily, and the steamed abalone was very unique and perfectly cooked (didn’t know abalone can be cooked that way)! The customer service was especially outstanding as their server explained the drinks menu to us in English and recommended us teas that work well with each meal. He was attentive in taking care of us for the entire 2:30 hours we spent there.
