The minced meat soba has an amazing flavor but the soba noodle Is still a bit chewy / undercooked. I love the taste though. Also ambience is relaxing, i had some highball and beer :) will go back
View on GoogleReally nice vibe here—relaxed but still stylish. The crowd was a good mix of tourists, locals, and businesspeople. The soba was honestly the least favorite thing I had. Flavors were okay, but the noodles felt overcooked and just didn’t have that nice bite. The mackerel salad, though, was super fresh and tasty. Prices were pretty reasonable for the area and the overall experience.
View on GoogleJust okay - probably won’t return 🍜😕 It was just okay, but I’m not sure about a second visit. The soba was way too thick and fat - it made me super full of just gluten. I left feeling heavy and bloated. 😩 I wanted to have soba in Shibuya, but sadly there are too few good options in the area. 🤷♂️ Here’s the disappointing part: Suju was one of my most favorite restaurants in Singapore with amazing Su (vinegar) dishes! 🍶✨ But the Tokyo Shibuya location doesn’t offer those at all - just thick, fat soba. I really hope they can start serving their usual vinegar-focused food here, not only the heavy soba. The Singapore location is so much better! 😔 If you loved Suju in Singapore, this might disappoint you. Different menu, different experience.
View on GoogleA compact Shibuya hideout where lighting is low, the playlist leans mellow, and the conversation takes center stage. Cocktails favor balance over fireworks—think clean sours, restrained sweetness, good ice. Small plates are tidy and unfussy, the kind you keep nibbling while time blurs outside the window. Staff are attentive without hovering, and the room attracts a mixed crowd of regulars and first-timers. Ideal for a calm pre- or post-dinner stop when you want to actually hear your friends and taste what’s in the glass.
View on GoogleThis is where jazz meets soba. The decor is modern and fresh with plenty of natural light from the incredibly high ceilings. The tempura soba was absolutely delicious. Perfectly done tempura that isn't oily. While the tempura presented on the hot soba looks lovely I think I would prefer my tempura on a separate plate next time so that I can enjoy every bite of it rather than losing it to the soup. I also had a chicken thigh on a skewer. Dining alone or as a couple or small group is easily managed here. If your group is larger they have the space to push tables together.
