I love ramen and I’ve tried many ramens in my life, I honestly hadn’t really found a great vegan ramen in Japan yet. Therefore my expectations of this place weren’t high (they’re open till 5.30AM) BUT it was actually the best ramen I had so far in Japan! You order via a machine outside (it only accepts IC or suica though) and give the ticket to the staff inside, the food comes out quite fast and there’s ’counter’ like seating. It’s great for a quick ramen and i would def go for a drunken after party ramen at night 😁 we had the spicy miso vegan ramen (they have 3 vegan options) and vegan gyozas, everything was very tasty! Good portions, The price is also very good, would def come back if I want a quick bite and good ramen:) the crowd is a mix of locals and foreigners. recommended!
View on GoogleAwesome experience, we had one gluten-free soy broth with 2 meat and one normal soy ramen. They were both amazing, the fried chicken is the best my gluten intolerant fiance ever had. The machine to order is also in English. To note: the restaurant is not coeliac friendly as there is cross contamination (it is advertised everywhere on the machine and in the restaurant that is it not coeliac friendly)
View on GoogleI almost want to gatekeep this place bc it’s small but SO GOOD. I tried so many ramen places while in tokyo and kept missing this one because it was so good. They’re super vegetarian friendly without missing on the flavor - which is rare bc most ramen is just pork. I had their spicy miso veggie ramen as well as the vegetarian gyoza and of course accompanied by a highball. We were a party of 4 and everyone thought it was incredible. They even have little hair ties for the ladies, what a thoughtful touch.
View on GoogleHad the gluten free double meat ramen and gluten free/vegan gyozas and they did not disappoint! It was amazing. You order your meal out the front and then head inside to get a table - this was the only confusing bit about the service! Amazing and would recommend to any gf people
View on GoogleMy coeliac partner and I returned for our second visit to this exceptional gluten-free restaurant, and it was just as impressive as the first. Being able to order almost anything on the menu was such a joy for him, and the fried chicken was outstanding — who knew gluten-free fried chicken could be that delicious? Given how challenging it can be to find Japanese restaurants that truly understand and cater for coeliac needs, discovering this place felt like a huge relief. The gluten free gyoza were also excellent, could hardly tell the difference with the glutenous ones.
