I went to マリオンクレープ SHIBUYA109渋谷店, and my first impression was that it had that convenient, exciting “THE 渋谷” feeling—a perfect place for something to eat while walking. Being inside SHIBUYA109 makes it easy to access, and it's nice to pop in quickly between shopping. There is a huge variety of crepes, from sweet to savory, so being able to choose according to your mood that day is part of the appeal. When I actually tried one, the crepe was chewy and the cream was just right, not too sweet, with a balance that kept it enjoyable to the last bite. I also appreciated how quickly it was served after ordering; being able to buy one quickly even in crowded Shibuya is a nice point. It is a very casual shop, though, so the style is more about taking it away and eating while walking than sitting down for a leisurely treat. Precisely because of that, I thought it was nice for sharing with friends or casually enjoying as a little reward for yourself. It's just right when you're in Shibuya thinking, “I'd like a little something sweet,” a consistently reliable crepe shop that makes you want to stop by again.
View on GoogleIt certainly doesn't compare with a real Breton crêpe, but you can't blame them! Haha. Honestly, I thought the filling was very generous and the service friendly and polite. And the red berry iced tea was super good!
View on GoogleThe crepe was quite cold, and I didn't feel it was worth the money I paid. The female staff member handed it to me silently with a blank expression. She may have been busy, but I didn't feel any sense of hospitality.
View on GoogleThe one I ate should have been freshly cooked, but the crepe was really cold. I ordered sugar butter, but the sugar had clumped together and it wasn't tasty at all. I was really upset to be charged 600円 for this. I'll never go again. I recommend the Hiratsuka shop! How can the taste be so different at the same shop…
View on GoogleDespite waiting, no one ever came to take my order, and they even glared at me. I'll never go again. It was unpleasant, so I left without buying anything.
