1/1/25 - 4.5 stars A long standing yakiniku restaurant perched atop central Harajuku. Even after coming early, we still needed to wait about 45 minutes to be seated, but, definitely was worth the wait. We opted for the buffet option and service was very quick and meticulous unlike many other buffet bbq restaurants I've been to. The Royal Course offers 110 meat options which sounds like a lot, but, after trying each of the more interesting ones once, mainly the rib finger and other rib cuts were definitely the best. At ¥5225, it's not cheap and the beef isn't Wagyu (it's from Australia as per the staff) but it was still excellent. Location, service and ambience are quite good too.

Delicious! Family (4 people ) ordered 4 lunch sets (1 assorted lunch with 5 kinds of meat, 1 beef sirloin lunch, 1 kalbi lunch, 1 wagyu beef short rib lunch [under wagyu beef lunch 1]), 1 beer and 1 soda. The total amounted to only 8525 yen (really worth the price!). Each lunch set came with a salad (2 sauce options), a rice bowl (3 size options + option for no rice), a soup (seaweed soup or soup of the day), a tofu, some kimchi, and a choice of salt or sauce for the meat. I only got photos of 3 of the sets because we ordered the last one later.

Came here at night, found that the view was pretty amazing so the atmosphere is certainly five stars. The food was not bad but not amazing with exception of one of the cuts of wagyu. Not sure which since I ordered the 3 wagyu cuts but one of them was really good and the other two were descent but not amazing.

Our all time favourite beef yakiniku shop when we travel to Tokyo! The shop is right in the middle of the intersection. Cow tongue is one of my favourite dishes. Free vegetable buffet is a plus to our dining experience. The price is right for the quality meat they serve. Highly recommended!

Nice wagyu. You can order lunch set meals or buffet or a-la carte. The intestines inside tendon stew is quite hard to chew. Apart from that it was a nice meal.
