Ordered miso ramen Price:780 yen Time from ordering to arrival:3 minutes Portion:medium, on the generous side Taste:delicious (too hot to tell) Noodles:curly noodles Payment:ticket machine Points: The toppings are green onions, menma, and finely chopped chashu. Taking a bite, it was very hot—a rather formidable ramen. The noodles are curly in typical Hokkaido fashion, catching the broth and conveying even more heat and flavor. The finely chopped chashu is also wonderfully tender and retains a juicy flavor. Ginger was included by default, so if you dislike it, I think it's best to mention that beforehand. It stayed piping hot until the end, so I thought it might be good to eat during winter or other cold periods. Total:☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆★★ 8/10
View on GoogleOrdered soy sauce ramen (780 yen). This was my first visit, but I'd eaten miso ramen at Raiden, which similarly changed from Junren, so here I tried the Jun-Sumi-style soy sauce ramen I'd long heard was delicious. The broth is scorched, giving it a fragrant, slightly bitter flavor. I wonder if the noodles are the same as those used for the miso ramen. With these noodles, unless the broth is a little stronger, the overall impression feels weak.
View on GoogleThe flavor is close to the main shop in Sapporo, but overall I'd say it's about 7 tenths of the main shop. A slightly toned-down Junren ramen. Delicious, but it leaves me wanting something more. In fiercely competitive Ebisu, it ranks highly for location and taste.
View on GoogleIt seems they became independent from Junren in Sapporo and changed the shop's name. The rich scorched soy sauce ramen is as delicious as before, but the prices are also typical of Ebisu, with a premium feel that makes you hesitate to order side dishes. I think it's best to go with the mindset of treating yourself to a little luxury.
View on GoogleThe miso ramen had an innovative sansho-like flavor. At lunchtime, a queue forms inside the shop.
