Smoking and non-smoking areas are separated indoors, and the old Hawaii-style space in the smoking area is fantastic. Among the many Hawaiian restaurants, this space scores highly. At lunchtime, you can have curry with a flavor like that famous Sangosho curry.

TSUNAMI is a chain of Hawaiian restaurants. They have locations in Ebisu, Komazawa, and elsewhere. Apparently, one recently opened in Tsujido too. I used to go to the Ebisu location all the time, but this was my first visit to the Royal Palace location. The interior felt like a mature, relaxed vision of Hawaii. A friend had told me the avocado ice cream here was very delicious, so I had been really curious about this place. I ordered the pasta of the day, 1200円 (pork and ume pasta), and tacos. The ume flavor went very well with the pork, and the pasta was delicious. The tacos were good too. Then I had avocado ice cream for dessert. This was exquisite too. The slightly sweet sauce paired beautifully with the avocado, and it was very delicious. The attentive service was excellent.
