Great teishoku place with delicious lunch sets
View on GoogleGreat place with delicious food
View on GoogleI was in the area for work, found this place, and stopped in. I had the daily pork shabu lunch. The special sauce was perfectly seasoned and made me keep eating more rice! The cooking was homey yet refined, and really delicious! You can also order coffee to take away, and it was 300 yen with lunch! Locals should definitely try it! I will stop by again when I am passing nearby!
View on GoogleAbout a 5-10 minute walk from any of the nearest stations. In a residential area, right in front of the University of Tokyo. The restaurant is small. Smoking is allowed, so I do not recommend it if you dislike cigarette smoke. Most customers are older men. We happened to be talking about wanting fried shrimp, and since that day's special was fried shrimp, we went in. Rice, a main dish, another side, and miso soup. Nostalgic and delicious. The rice is cooked perfectly. Gentle home cooking from an experienced motherly cook. It is not a stylish cafe or anything, but the food is delicious, so I go fairly often. Savoring delicious flavors that are hard to reproduce. Sometimes I go on consecutive days (laughs)
