I ended up visiting twice during my stay in Shibuya because I loved the atmosphere so much. Tucked away on a quiet side street, it became my favorite place to spend slow mornings with a cup of hot coffee. In fact, I usually stayed long enough to have two. I ordered different sandwiches on each visit, the tuna and the bacon, and both were excellent. As a picky eater, that is not something I say often. The staff were consistently warm, accommodating, and attentive without ever making the café feel rushed. If I ever return to Shibuya, this will easily be one of my first stops. It is the kind of neighborhood café that makes a city feel familiar, even if you are only there for a few days.

Such a cute little coffee shop with friendly staff! I was immediately greeted by all of the staff once I entered. 🤗 Nice jazz music is playing in the background and there are English Menus available! I was also able to customize my sandwich 🥪 order with no problem! The cook even asked if I had any allergies to make sure the order would be okay! Thanks for being so kind to me! 🥰

The atmosphere was nice and calming. The coffee was fantastic and the breakfast was also great. We especially liked the friendly staff, we watched them assist an elderly woman by going outside and carrying her walker into the store, and helping to lift her up the steps and assisting her to a table, which was really heartwarming.

A special place for me with a lot of nostalgia. I love kissaten culture and Poem in Hatagaya is one of my all time favourite kissaten with its old school interior and lovely ambiance. I spend my mornings here for a few hours, drinking their French roast and having their simple sandwiches.

The atmosphere is so lovely and our waiter was super kind and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure the food we were ordering was okay because I notified him of my allergies (put something into Google Translate on an iPad to check with us). English menu available. I got the butter toast with strawberry jam and cheese toast - holy cow the strawberry jam and butter were yummy. My partner got German roast coffee (came with nice bit crystals of brown sugar and cream) and the frankfurt - both were very very good. I would recommend!
