Wonderfully kind owner! Popped in after going to the gym, strolling down the park way on a Saturday at noon. Offer was chicken, spinach or eggplant curry. All for 1000 yen. It’s like a pop up in the antologica cafe / bar. Wonderful atmosphere. Freshly made. Just so delicious.
View on GoogleThe regular menu item is chicken curry, and alongside it they offer daily curries called “mood curry.” That day's mood curries were 2 varieties: spinach curry and eggplant with minced meat curry. All curries cost 1,000円 and come with a small side dish and lassi. Normally you can only order one variety, but that day the owner kindly prepared a half-and-half serving of chicken curry and spinach curry. I was walking around the neighborhood with a friend looking for lunch, and we happened to find this place. Many curry shops operating in shared premises are delicious, so I visited with high expectations. The interior is stylish and bar-like, and perhaps it's not widely known yet, as it was quiet and we could enjoy plenty of space. Both curries tasted carefully prepared, offering completely different kinds of deliciousness. The chicken curry in particular had depth to its spices and an addictive flavor you can't get at other places. The mood curry seems to change regularly, so I'd like to try various other curries too. Since I live nearby, I think I'll be visiting regularly from now on. Thank you for the meal.
View on Google【Nearest station】 3-minute walk from Yoyogi-koen Station 【Budget】 1000〜1500 【Overview】 ナッティーカレー, open only at lunchtime! There are around 2〜3 daily curry choices, mainly spice curries with plenty of spice. Chicken curry is especially recommended! The interior is a small space with around 6 tables. Apparently it operates as a bar at night, and the dim lighting gives it a nice atmosphere. 【Menu】 ・Two-curry spice plate (chicken, spinach) 【Notes】 While out walking that day, I discovered my beloved spice curry. When my friend and I ordered chicken and spinach respectively, the owner thoughtfully served both together on each plate! He said, “I do it when I'm not busy!” This is what it means to get twice the deliciousness in one go. ・Chicken When it comes to spice curry, you have to start with chicken curry. The sauce is fairly thin, but as you eat, the spices pack a punch, and their aroma wafting through your nose gives it a deep flavor. The chicken was springy and tender, taking on the spice flavors beautifully, and I really enjoyed it! Thank you for the meal. ※3.02 at the time of posting ------------------------------------- Thank you for reading to the end. I'd be happy if you liked & saved this!!
View on GoogleCurry with lassi and one side dish for 1000円. There seem to be 2 types of curry. It's delicious, but the portion might be too small for men. The flavor is good, but it feels a little lacking; perhaps it's the kind of thing women would like.
View on GoogleStopped by on my way back from rostro. There wasn't much review information, but I'd been curious every time I passed, so I tried it for the first time. The result was a satisfying lunch! We visited as 2 people and each ordered one type of curry, and amazingly they served both curries together on each plate. Neither was too spicy, and both were delicious. Curry, a pickle-like accompaniment, a side dish (also curry-flavored), and lassi as thick as Greek yogurt for 1,000円—exceptional value for this area. We visited right in the middle of lunchtime on a weekend, but the interior was calm, and the owner was kind. I think it's perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxed, unpretentious lunch.
