I had a pleasant experience here. Aqua and Nina were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. They chatted with me while preparing the food and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I enjoyed trying something new. While some of the dishes weren’t quite to my personal taste, I could appreciate the quality and preparation, and I especially enjoyed the abalone. Their warm hospitality made the experience very enjoyable.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Moheji Shibuya Scramble Square. It was our first time trying monjayaki, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Cod Roe & Rice Cake Monja with mozzarella cheese and the Squid Ink Risotto Monja, and both dishes were outstanding. The monja was rich, creamy, and packed with umami, while the Squid Ink Risotto Monja was unique, flavorful, and unlike anything we’ve tried before. A special thank you to Nina, who made our visit even more memorable. She was warm, attentive, and an absolute delight throughout our meal. As international visitors, we especially appreciated that she spoke excellent English and took the time to explain the dishes and dining experience to us. Her friendly service made our first monja experience enjoyable, comfortable, and stress-free. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. One of our favorite meals during our Tokyo trip. I’ve visited Moheji every time I’ve come to Japan, and this was my third visit. Overall, it was another great experience. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff know how to prepare and explain the dishes properly. Our server, Ria, was very wonderful, was friendly, personable, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. We really enjoyed chatting with her. The only downside was that at the beginning of the meal, it seemed like our table may have been overlooked. We had to flag someone down to place our order and get water. However, once we got past that initial delay, the service was excellent. Overall, I had a great meal and would absolutely return. Moheji remains one of my favorite places to eat whenever I visit Japan.

Karen was so sweet! The whole crew is amazing and the food is so yummy! A must go if you are in the area. The squid is really fresh. There may be a long queue but it goes by really fast.
