I’m from Texas and will confirm this is some of the best Mexican food you will find on the planet. Staff is amazing, as is all the food. If you love craft beer, the collection here is as good as you will find Japan. Please close your night out with the fresh made churros and vanilla ice cream.

It was so delicious! My first impression was how nice and comfortable the atmosphere was, and to add to the charm the service was friendly and our food was prepared quickly. We ordered a chicken burrito, carnitas taco, the avocado and shrimp plate, and horchata. Everything was delicious and fresh and I highly recommend for anyone who is craving some authentic flavors. The chicken was juicy and all spices and sauces blended wonderfully! Horchata was also great 10/10!Thank you Mil Tacos!

Authentic Mexican Flavor in the Heart of Japan – A Hidden Gem in Tokyo During my recent trip to Japan, I decided to break out of the norm and search for something unexpected—authentic Mexican food. My first attempt? A bit of a miss. But then, by sheer luck, I stumbled upon a hidden gem tucked away on a small, obscure access road. From the outside, the place had a quaint, cozy vibe. Once I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by a fellow San Diegan—at that moment, I knew I was in good hands. The restaurant offers both contactless ordering and traditional service, which I appreciated. They had a solid selection of Mexican beers, including two of my all-time favorites: Tecate and Modelo Especial. I went all in with the food: 🌮 Carnitas, Carne Asada, and Al Pastor tacos—each one better than the last. 🧀 A Carnitas Quesadilla with a side of creamy guacamole rounded out the meal. Next time, I’ve got my eye on the lamb taco. What truly sets this place apart is their attention to detail. The combination of fresh cilantro, spicy chiles, crisp radishes, diced onions, and handmade blue corn tortillas made each bite unforgettable. Tony, Angel, and the whole team knocked it out of the park. 🎶 The Mexican music, warm hospitality, and truly authentic border-style food made me feel like I’d been transported from Tokyo straight to Tijuana. If you're in the Tokyo area and craving something different, Mil Tacos is a must-visit. Viva México... in Japan! 🌮🇯🇵🇲🇽

Came here for lunch today. Excellent burrito. Reminded me of my times in Mexico. Excellent blend of spices. Craft beer was also very tasty. Definitely worth a visit. Owner friendly and service is superb. English, Spanish and Japanese spoken.

Before booking my hotel in Tokyo, I had one question on my mind: where can I find some Mexican food nearby? It might sound strange, but after being away from my beloved cuisine for four months, I was determined to satisfy my cravings. And let me tell you, this tiny gem of a restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I even got to meet the owner, who, as fate would have it, hails from the same beautiful state in Mexico as I do—Puebla! He poured his heart and soul into crafting our dishes, and the results were nothing short of perfection. Every single bite was a flavor explosion! We indulged in enchiladas de mole, taco al pastor, a scrumptious chicken burrito bowl, cheesy chicken quesadilla, and refreshing agua de Jamaica. Each dish was more delicious than the last! I cannot wait to return to this wonderful place on my next adventure in beautiful Tokyo. Until then! 🇯🇵🇲🇽
