渋谷 麺屋武蔵 武骨外伝Menya Musashi Bukotsu Gaiden
The signature of Menya Musashi Bukotsu Gaiden is the rich Gaiden Black Tsukemen, topped with Gaiden's special thick sauce and a soft-boiled egg. The rich tonkotsu broth, finished with several kinds of seafood, clings perfectly to the glossy, chewy medium-thick noodles. Eat it mixed with the sauce, eat it with the egg, or add Gaiden's special shichimi—spicy and crunchy, made from tenkasu—or yuzu vinegar. It's the ultimate bowl, one you can enjoy in different ways over and over. Menya Musashi Bukotsu Gaiden features the rich "Gaiden Special Black Tsukemen," topped with a special sauc…

Possibly the most delicious meal we had in Tokyo, the black tsukemen noodles are absolutely delicious, especially with the soft egg! You have to add Menya Musashi Bukotsu Gaiden to your food plan!
View on GoogleWas delicious. I believe this is a chain but each individual store has it's own special broth to make it unique.
View on GoogleChewy noodles and tasty soup base. This is the tsukemen style where noodles and soup are separated and you’d take some noodles each time and dip them into the sauce bowl. This is great because you can then control how light or heavy the taste (how much sauce/soup to dip) Also great if you are coming in hungry as you can get up to 3x of the regular serving of noodles for free. (Maybe more because I didn’t look further, I got 2.5 times and didn’t need dinner). Pork was great. Perfect balance of fat and meat. It accepts credit cards.
View on GoogleI think the broth might be a hit or miss for people. For me, someone who likes Jiro-style ramen broth, it wasn't quite my taste. However, the thick slices of meat were delicious and flavorful. Beyond that, I also liked how the atmosphere was decorated to evoke a samurai feel, and card payment being available was convenient.
View on GoogleOn the hunt for Tsukemen around Shibuya. Came across Musashi Menya through google. I went there around 7:30pm. There were no line. The ticket machine have English language so it should be easy for foreigners. I ordered a classic white Tsukemen (pork and fish base). The soup was savory and thick, solid classic. The noodle was also chewy. When you order, you’ll have to choose the noodle portion after you’ve selected menu. For anyone who’s new to Tsukemen, id suggest a regular size. They also show you the weight pre and post cooked noodle. Chashu is also good, it’s a thick soy stewed pork belly, very tender, savory and sweet. Overall, strong baseline Tsukemen.
