I think this must be my favourite spot in Tokyo to eat this Nagoya style dish so far, which is also one of my favourite Japanese dishes overall. I highly recommend it, especially with a little bit of spicy oil on top!

The food deserves 5 stars, but unfortunately the service and atmosphere completely ruined the experience. The chef’s attitude was unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable, both toward foreigners and Japanese guests. Instead of creating a welcoming dining experience, the atmosphere made us feel like we were expected to stop talking, stay quiet, and simply eat. That kind of behavior takes away from the quality of the meal and leaves a very bitter impression. Good food alone is not enough. Hospitality matters, especially in a restaurant setting. A smile, basic politeness, and respect toward guests would make a huge difference. And if the goal is to fit more guests, the solution is not to pressure people during their meal, it is to get a bigger space and let people enjoy their meal. Please learn.

The best udon noodles I’ve had in Japan. So much flavour and the perfect portion size. I lovely small restaurant with 7 seats which felt authentic. To top it off once you finish the noodles you get a little bit of rice to enjoy the rest of the amazing sauce. Would come again!

The food was good, but the service was unacceptable. Only five minutes after we sat down and got our food, the chef told us to leave so they could clear the table for other customers. It’s a shame the hospitality doesn't match the kitchen. I won't be returning.

A true gem amongst the tourist traps. Unique and memorable..lovely insightful manager. See you again soon
