A very cozy café tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Sendagaya. The space beautifully embodies Japanese aesthetics and the café’s philosophy of “ma.” The café permanently displays bonsai, earthenware, and original apparel, giving the space a thoughtful and distinctive character. Their dirty matcha latte with Masuno cream was absolutely delicious. A lovely place to slow down and enjoy a moment of calm and the amazing Tokyo fashion of visiting guests.

This is a great relaxing spot in the middle of Tokyo with a beautiful interior. The drinks themselves are always delicious, especially the matcha which is a great quality and comes through especially well in a latte. The staff are also so kind and welcoming, I felt very comfortable during my visit. Looking forward to visiting again when I want some time to relax 🍵

It started with a quick stop for matcha in Sendagaya. We wandered into MASONO / wabi, got distracted by the beautiful wellness clothing, and left already planning to come back. By the end of the trip, we'd been three times.

We loved MASONO / wabi so much we came back three times. The first visit was for the matcha and the beautiful wellness clothing, the second for lunch, and the third just for a coffee because we couldn't stay away. On our second visit we were lucky enough to chat with the owner, who explained the thinking behind the space: wellness meets Japan. You can feel it the moment you walk in. The calm, earthy interior, the paper lanterns and the thoughtful details make it a place you want to linger, whether you're working, catching up with friends or just enjoying a really good matcha. A true hidden gem in Sendagaya. Highly recommend, and we'll be back next time we're in Tokyo!
