Mexican cuisine "LA JOLLA" in Hiroo, Tokyo. The shop is located 1 minute walk from Hiroo Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. Thanks to the support of many customers, since 1987 we are still serving authentic Mexican cuisine that has not changed. We prepare not only main dishes but also snacks that go well with alcohol such as ceviche and sopes. Please enjoy it with tequila made from Agave Azul Tequilana (because drinks made from agave also include pulque and mezcal), and our pride margarita. For those who say "Tequila is a little...", we have carefully selected Mexican beer...

I wish there was a rating to say it's just "ok". We enjoyed the service, the guy who took charge in serving us gave us great recommendations and was super fast. Although the food and drinks took a while to arrive, I don't dock point for that. Everyone was super nice and friendly. But man, the food was mediocre. Dont expect much from here, it's good food but you're not gonna get real Mexican food. Don't skip but just understand what you will get from here. I will definitely come again cause I know what I will get. Great prices and good atmosphere but just ok food.

Really big portions, so make sure you are hungry! I had a cheese burrito, it was huge, and came with a large portion of rice and beans as well. Really yummy, and cute restaurant interior. Sitting by the colorful window was fun!

I really wanted to like this place, but this is, unfortunately, probably the worst burrito I've ever had. There were no vegetables or rice or beans inside, only chunks of beef and a thick brown sauce. I also ordered the chips and salsa. The salsa was plentiful, but I could have used a few more chips. Maybe other menu items are better, but I don't recommend the burrito. The staff were friendly and efficient, no complaints there!

Ten years ago this was my favorite Mexican spot in Tokyo. I try to go every time I come back. This time though, will be my last. While the chips, salsa and guacamole were still good, my bean and cheese burrito was flavorless (and mostly cheese) and the exceptional margarita menu was replaced by a single, tiny, offering (and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted a salted rim). My burrito came with sauce and only a small dallop of sour cream- no rice, no salad, no refried beans. I searched (scoured) my menu for my beloved Rolls Royce margarita, but found only frozen options or “Tony’s” (on the rocks). My Tony’s margarita did not even reach half glass, even with ice. For the first time I did not finish my dish and I did not order a second drink.

Hidden gem in Hiroo walking street area. Food was amazing. Love the Camaron Tequila dish. Super creamy and tasty. The service was good too. Make sure you make a reservation in advance if you want to come for dinner on weekends since the restaurant is quite small.
