【2 minutes on foot from Shibuya Station】 Enjoy authentic Hakata-style yakitori and vegetable rolls at the private-room izakaya 『串右衛門』. A NEW izakaya with all seating in private rooms is OPEN! We accommodate everyone from 2 guests to large groups. Our yakitori and vegetable rolls grilled over carefully selected charcoal are popular signature dishes! We offer a wide variety. We also have a large selection of sake that pairs well with yakitori! You can enjoy hot pot in winter too. For same-day reservations, we also recommend all-you-can-drink! It is available without a course meal, so please order whatever dishes you would like from the main menu.

Lesson learned, always ask table and service fees up front. Was just trying to pop into a spot for a not fancy meal after walking around all day. Most the food was decent to be honest, but the uni had an off color and the tuna was gray. The seats were old and dingy but the private rooms seemed to be having fun if you have a group. At the end we were charged a 10% service fee and 2000 yen for two “appetizers” we didn’t order. Would be a 3-4 if we didn’t get charged 3200 yen over what we expected, but alas. Beware the fees and look elsewhere.

I visited this place yesterday with my family and was very disappointed. The food didn’t fill us up, and after the meal we were suddenly charged an extra 1,500 yen just for sitting. In the end, the seating fee cost more than the food itself. Honestly, it was the most expensive and least satisfying meal we had in Tokyo — you’d be better off going to McDonald’s.

Absolutely horrible place. Gave you appetisers in the beginning without saying anything, way before ordering and later charging it 500 yen/person and saying it's a seating fee. The food tasted like it was bought from the store and microwaved. And after forgetting 2 of my orders and needing to remind them 5 times they chared 487 yen as service fee.

Our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately a letdown. We had made a reservation for 9 people and were looking forward to a pleasant evening. However, the issues began with the food: the portions were so small that they were barely enough to satisfy anyone, let alone a group of this size. It felt like they were cutting corners in all the wrong places. The real disappointment came with the drinks. Toward the end of our reservation, we wanted to order one last round of drinks, but this was denied, as the so-called “last order” had already passed—despite the fact that there were still 30 minutes left on our reservation. This rigid and unaccommodating approach completely ruined the end of our evening. Overall, the experience left a sour taste in our mouths. The inadequate portion sizes and inflexible service made us feel unwelcome as guests. We will not be recommending this restaurant and certainly won’t be returning.

This place was horrible, was just looking for a place to have a nice dinner and on the outside and atmosphere it looked alright, but when the food came every ounce of joy in believing that this would be a pleasant dinner experience left my body. The food portions where way to small for the price and there was nothing special about it at all. The worst part was when the bill came, we had to pay 1500 yen extra for service fee and a appetizers that we didn’t even order ourself. Don’t go to this place! It’s just a scam
