Found this place while walking the strrets of Shibuya. The place is about a 3 minute walk from the Shibuya station and conveniently located. The food was great. The menu options were extensive and there were different flavors of pasta to choose from. The serving size was perfectly portioned to fill you up but it wasnt too heavy so we didnt feel guilty eating pasta at dinnertime. The Catalan Creme Brulee was also great. Not too sweet and the sugar topping was just the right amount to get it crisp and torched. The ambiance was nice and quiet, but we were sat right by the door and we were getting bitten by mosquitos under the table. We also noticed the AC was much stronger the more you go into the restaurant so i'd recommend avoiding sitting by the door. But overall, we enjoed the food and had a great experience.
View on GoogleWe visited Kura Italian Restaurant because we wanted a break from Japanese cuisine and try something different. It’s not exactly authentic Italian, but honestly, it was a nice change and we enjoyed the experience. The flavors aren’t quite what you would expect in Italy, but the dishes were still tasty and satisfying. One small detail: pizza should really be served with a knife — it was a bit surprising that it wasn’t. Looking at the menu, I would have expected to see an Italian dessert like panna cotta instead of a French option like crème brûlée… but interestingly, that wasn’t available either. Overall, not a place for authentic Italian cuisine, but a good option if you’re craving something different from Japanese food.
View on GoogleThis is actually one of the best creamed pasta I've had. I ordered the one with bacon and spinach. A delicious taste of smoke throughout the sauce, and quite much sauce and bacon. I had a little bit bigger portion, 1.25 of regular, and it was perfect for me who normally don't eat very much (I eat little to be a man, I'm 70 kgs). I had +1 on spicyness, and it added a perfect little bite to it. Restaurant could've been a little more modern, but the food is the most important.
View on GoogleThe food was great with very many options in the internet menu. It was hard to choose but every option had the ability to change the size (small, medium, large) and add items to every meal. There was also an option to make it spicy, although the most spicy option was not as spicy as Thai or Indian restaurants. I personally got the largest size and it was comparable to a large sized pasta plate in America.
View on GoogleDelicious Japanese Italian cuisine. Pasta cooked to al dente and the flavors of each pasta dish was clean and distinct. Easy ordering with QR code, friendly service and food arrived quickly.
