I went shopping in Shibuya and wanted to eat yakisoba. I found this restaurant on Google, took the elevator to the 5th floor, and ordered yakisoba and monjayaki with mentaiko and mochi. It was my first time trying it—absolutely delicious, one of the best I’ve ever had. I went around 3 PM, so there was no long wait—I got a table right away. The staff were very nice and kindly helped cook the monjayaki for me, as I wasn’t sure how to do it even after watching videos. I’ll definitely come back again and bring my friends and family from Thailand.
View on Google10/10 okonomiyaki !! Highly recommend to any food lovers looking for a good feed and immersive food experience, a real hidden gem!! Go to level 5 thru the lift at the top of the stairs. You won't be disappointed !!
View on GoogleGood fun to eat here, cooking on the hot plate yourself Decent taste and quality Can get very hot inside due to the hot plate's temperature and possibly the air conditioning as well, even in the winter, you can feel the heat from your seat
View on GoogleGreat place to have good okonomiyaki and monja in Shibuya. It can be really crowded so you might wait several minutes before having a place. It's easy to book, you'll be assigned a number and wait until they call you. They have menu in English, Chinese and Korean if needed, the staff speak really well english and it really friendly. There's for each plate you order, an explanation about how to make it in the menu. The staff can do it for you if you're struggling. They have some specific dish for foreigner like okonomiyaki or monja with bacon and camembert. The food is really tasty and there's a good choice. I recommend especially if you like seafood.
View on GoogleOkonomiyaki: my first time having this. It tasted quite good, warm, eggy, crunchy from vegetables and went very well with toppings. Extra pork portion was very meager and small. Yakisoba: alright. Too oily. Pork cuts too fatty and it could've been much hotter. They forgot to bring us the scallops. We had to go and call on them. Even then, they took ages. Service was so so and staff are aloof. We tried to call on them for the scallops but they ignored or didn't seem to even notice. The place is understaffed. Certain menu items were shown physically but turns out they had run out (they did not appear on the online menu). It was a little confusing how to make the okonomiyaki itself but we got there in the end. Seating is a bit cramped. Cups looked a bit dirty/cloudy. I don't think I would recommend this place for foreigners. Go somewhere else more accommodating to English.
