At this monk's café, the proprietor, a clergyman, serves his own home-cooked food. The Fudo statue at the entrance is wooden, around 700 years old, and has an aura; you can also get amulets and request ritual prayers.
View on GoogleI'm a regular^_^The entrance is hard to find, and since you walk past the Fudo statue to enter, many people seem to think it's suspicious. It's nothing of the sort—it's a café in an old traditional house in the city. The owner's warm personality, heartfelt set meals, and freshly brewed coffee always soothe me. The owner's homemade cakes are delicious too!
View on GoogleA coffee shop that's been around for a long time. They recently reopened. Currently, the bar “Aloha New York” operates on the first floor of the front building, while the café “珈琲カンタータ” is open farther and farther down the narrow lane alongside, then up the stairs on the 2nd floor. Apparently, opening hours are only 3 days: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 11:30 until 6 in the evening. They carefully grind and brew the coffee one cup at a time. The cream was proper fresh cream too◎
View on GoogleIt was a café with a lovely atmosphere! The carefully brewed coffee really showed their dedication, and it was a place that soothed both body and soul.
View on GoogleThe atmosphere was very heartwarming, and the delicious food left both my appetite and my heart satisfied.
