Almost every item was delicious. Nothing fancy, but they're done well and at a great price.

This was my first visit. That day I was really hungry and wanted to drink, so I visited 『香福園 本店』, which offers all-you-can-eat and drink (2 hours: 3,000円), something I don't usually do. Since we arrived after 15:00, there were no other customers that day, and even though our group was large, we were shown to our seats right away. The owner was very friendly, everything we ordered came out very quickly, and when I asked to charge my phone, they let me use an outlet without the slightest sign of annoyance. We left feeling very satisfied. I come to this area often, so I'd like to visit again. 【Recommended menu】 Mapo tofu ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Price: 4 Taste: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Cleanliness: 3 Seating space: 4 Serving speed: 5 Service: 4 Menu variety: 4 Suitability for dates: 3 /Out of 5 points ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー 【Note to myself】 ※1 person / 3,300円 (length of stay: 2 hours 00 minutes, 6 men)

This place accepts ペイペイ. I visited twice for dinner. On my first visit, I went in while looking for a place serving knife-cut noodles. Unlike the bright lighting in the photos from when it first opened, the interior now had moody lighting. A round-faced male staff member who spoke good Japanese showed me to a counter seat. The round-faced staff member said any ramen could be made with knife-cut noodles for an extra hundred yen, so I had the mushroom ramen made that way. The soup was delicious, the mushrooms were piled high, and the noodles were chewy like kishimen. I was so full that I couldn't eat anything at the bar I visited afterward. On my second visit, I had the original mushroom ramen. The soup and mushrooms were still delicious, but the noodles were thin, lacked firmness, and had a distinctly instant-noodle feel, which was a little disappointing.

I'd been here for drinks at night, but this was my first lunch visit. It's a basement restaurant very close to where you come up to street level from Hatagaya Station. I had the set meal of fried rice topped with mapo tofu, which was probably a recommended dish. The fried rice had a comforting, home-cooked taste. The mapo tofu was a little spicy and quite tasty. It also came with karaage, but it was cold and honestly not very good. The soup was corn soup with a gentle flavor. The almond tofu dessert was pleasantly sweet too. At 680円, the set meal was inexpensive for a restaurant right by the station, but honestly the taste felt about right for the price. The food also took a fair amount of time to arrive, so it may not suit a quick meal before heading out. Keep that in mind if you're in a hurry.

I enjoyed the delicious gomoku ramen 580円+mini fried rice 150円. There are many kinds of ramen, so even looking through the menu is fun. The menu said, "We charge 300円 for otoshi," so I was prepared for it, but I wasn't charged, which was a relief.
