Beautiful artworks and equipments present in this free exhibition. You can also watch the original animation. Some information is available in English.

An amazing free museum exhibiting dolls made by a famous doll maker. However, it can be a little scary if you are not a fan of dolls. They are so lifelike!

Free entry to this small puppet gallery on the 8th floor of Hikarie in Shibuya. No photography allowed in the gallery, but there are a couple of displays outside you can take photos of. The extremely detailed puppets are from two old NHK TV series: "Romance of the three kingdoms" and "The tale of the Heike". The information at the display cases is in Japanese, but they have general information leaflets in English.

I watched Romance of the Three Kingdoms as a kid and was overwhelmed by its grandeur, and I've loved it ever since. I was able to take a good close look at how intricate the dolls are. Since it said Part 4, it seems the exhibits change frequently. Amazing that it's free.
