If you are looking for authentic, wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, look no further. We visited this cozy sit-down spot right in the middle of Harajuku (just a stone's throw from the famous carbonara udon place) and were blown away. We ordered two different pizzas and both were absolute perfection. The first was a classic Margherita D.O.C. The standard here is incredibly high—a beautifully charred, puffy, and airy cornicione (crust) that was light but had that perfect chewy texture. The sauce was bright and tangy, balanced by the rich, creamy melted mozzarella and fresh, fragrant basil leaves. Simple, but executed flawlessly. The second pizza was a fantastic Prosciutto and Arugula Salad Pizza. This one was a masterclass in texture. It arrived with a mountain of fresh green arugula and lettuce, perfectly draped with generous slices of salty, savory prosciutto and a heavy dusting of parmesan cheese. The hot, crisp crust and the warm, vibrant tomato sauce base contrasted perfectly with the cool, refreshing salad toppings. It’s light, vibrant, and incredibly flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, a great place to sit down and escape the crowds. We had a great time and cannot recommend KEVELOS Meijijingūmae highly enough. If you’re a pizza fan in Tokyo, this place must be on your list!

Lovely place. Luckily I beat the line but it was pretty busy at lunch 12pm. Pizza was great. Neapolitan style. The crust was chewy and had good char spots. Sauce was a good balance of sweet and tangy. Ended it with good amount of salt. Would visit again if I’m in the area

Such an amazing find! My friend and I sat at the counter where we could watch the pizzas being made. The pizzas were amazing! Not even 30 seconds after they came out of the oven, they were already on a plate in front. We also ordered the romaine lettuce salad and were shocked at the size. It can definitely feed 2 people. The dressing and toppings were wonderful. I highly recommend stopping by! Some of the best authentic Italian pizza I’ve had so far in Tokyo.

I’ve passed this place countless times and always wanted to check it out. So I finally did. It was lunch time so I had to wait about 20 minutes, so no big deal, but book a table if you can. I sat at the counter and had a front row seat to all the pizza making action. The chef clearly knows what he’s doing, and the margherita pizza was delicious. Great crust, tasty sauce and cheese, and not too soggy in the middle. The garlic broccoli was good too. Cool vibe and friendly service, it’s a good option if you’re in the area.

After last year’s first visit, we just had to come here again on our 2025 Japan trip, because it is that good. There was a little queue around 1pm on a Sunday, but it was swiftly managed with us waiting for about 15 minutes to get a table. As expected, we can confirm that the taste, quality and service are still excellent. Even the little things like changing the plates after the appetizers, timing the pizza delivery accordingly, so you have the time to enjoy each dish still hot, are paid attention to. Highly recommended and we are already planning our next visit.
