小料理 よし田Japanese Cuisine&Sake Yoshida
A Japanese restaurant within walking distance of Yoyogi Station and Minami-Shinjuku Station, and easily accessible from the Shinjuku area too. We carefully select ingredients filled with the passion of their producers — including pesticide-free and naturally grown vegetables, eggs and meat raised on natural feed, and seasonal seafood — and serve washoku, Japanese cuisine, and kappo cuisine that bring out the natural appeal of the ingredients. Valuing ingredients that change with each season, we offer dishes carefully finished one by one, along with sake from all over Japan and carefully selected wines. We have a certified sake sommelier and a sommelier on staff who can suggest pairings to complement your meal. We're well received by sake lovers and wine lovers alike. Enjoy a leisurely meal in a calm space…

We stopped in after finding this place while walking around Yoyogi, and it worked very well for a relaxed meal where we could actually enjoy the conversation. We had the special course, and the domestic eel and the Kuroge wagyu stood out in particular, with each dish prepared with a lot of care. The wine selection also suited the meal nicely, which I appreciated as someone who likes organic options. The atmosphere felt calm and polished, the kind of setting that works well for a date or a quiet family dinner. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for good Japanese food in the Yoyogi area for a special meal with someone important.
View on GoogleWe came here for a family meal after looking for a good Japanese restaurant around Yoyogi. We had the standard 9-course meal, and the Kuroge Wagyu really stood out with its rich flavor and careful preparation. Each dish felt thoughtfully made, and the food had a refined, balanced taste throughout. The space was calm and slightly tucked away, with an elegant atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for good Japanese food around Yoyogi.

View on GoogleWe stopped in after noticing this place while passing by, and it turned out to be a lovely choice for an anniversary dinner as a couple. We had the standard nine-course menu, and the sashimi, fish dishes, and the Kuroge Wagyu stood out, with the clay pot rice at the end leaving a particularly memorable finish. The space felt calm and a bit tucked away, which made it easy to take our time, and the seasonal ingredients came through nicely in each course. The presentation and tableware were also beautifully chosen, adding to the feeling of a thoughtful Japanese meal. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for refined washoku around Yoyogi or wanting to introduce visitors from overseas to a very Japanese dining experience.
View on GoogleI visited for the first time on a referral; our family wanted to leisurely enjoy seasonal Japanese food, so we had reserved just a table. It was easygoing being able to choose what we liked à la carte, and the dishes, each with a gentle dashi flavor, and the carefully prepared domestic eel left a particularly strong impression. Their commitment to ingredients came through naturally, I was happy to be able to enjoy seasonal foods, and in the calm Japanese-style space, the conversation flowed easily. I think it would suit people interested in gibier, those who want to calmly enjoy Japanese food made with seasonal ingredients, and those looking for a place for business dinners.
