Designer cafe with pancakes, pizza & brunch cocktails, plus outdoor dining in a manicured garden.

A restaurant surrounded by trees in the heart of the city. Across 3 spaces—a cafe, dining area, and bar—we offer food and drinks for various occasions, from breakfast to dinner. The interior has a calm atmosphere reminiscent of a library in the forest, with a menu that is gentle on the mind and body.

IVY PLACE is a beautiful hidden oasis in the city. The lush garden terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows create a relaxing atmosphere that makes you forget you’re in central Tokyo. The Matcha Strawberry Pancake was visually stunning, topped with fresh strawberries, shiratama mochi, whipped cream, and rich matcha sauce. The pancakes were fluffy and satisfying without being overly sweet. Drinks were also well prepared and complemented the dessert nicely. The only downside is the popularity of the restaurant—wait times can be long, especially on weekends, and reservations are highly recommended. Overall, a wonderful spot for a leisurely afternoon with friends or family.

Tried lunch at IVY PLACE 🥞☕️ There was quite a long wait time, so I’d recommend going earlier if possible. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing, perfect for brunch or a slow lunch in Tokyo. The pasta options were a bit limited, and honestly the taste was just so-so, nothing very memorable. But the pancakes are definitely the highlight — fluffy, soft, and worth ordering even if you skip the main dishes. You really can’t leave without trying them ✨

The food was good, nice vibe. Came in 10:40am and was told only allowed to sit until 12:00 which is fine. However the japanese waitress’ attitude was not kind, felt somewhat discriminating against solo/foreigner guest. I was sitting in the terrace by myself and quite cold due to the AC was turned to the max, so I told the waitress in Japanese it is cold and do you have blanket? Turned down the ac but Totally ignored me on the blanket. Kept asking the table of 4 Japanese customers next to me how the temperature is for them multiple times and brought them blanket when requested. Still 30min left before 12, never once refill my water. The waitress swiftly gave me the bill and tried to take away my food before I even tell her I am not finished yet. Feels just want you to go away. I came to the restaurant all the way for your food and relaxing nice environment, which was totally ruined by the Japanese waitress’ attitude. Looking at the customers, about a quarter are foreigners and some staff speak English so I was surprised to encounter this kind of unpleasant experience. In conclusion I just want to ask the restaurant manager: “Are customers in a group of four customers, but a customer alone not a customer?” If that is the internal rule for this restaurant. Please specify somewhere on your website that groups only, one person customers are not welcomed. That would at least be helpful.

Loved everything I had. The vibe of the restaurant is authentically, unpretentiously cool. I like how the pasta is perfectly spicy and fresh with the herbs on top. The hummus is lovely, nutty, creamy, and tasty. The pork loin is elevated along with the grilled zucchinis. The dessert is unbelievably satisfying. The staff are very attentive. They really took care of me. The bar was so quick on their feet. It’s just another one of those perfect dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

★★★★★ Five-Star Dining & World-Class Hospitality My family/I were visiting Japan & just had to stop at IVY place. IVY Place in Tokyo delivers an exceptional dining experience that perfectly balances sophistication with warmth. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt refined yet inviting — elegant interiors, thoughtful lighting, and a relaxed energy that makes you want to linger. The cuisine is outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and executed with precision. Ingredients were fresh, flavors were layered and balanced, and the menu reflects both creativity and technical skill. You can tell the kitchen operates with discipline and pride. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the hospitality — particularly under the leadership of Brendhan Kelly. His presence is felt throughout the room. Professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, he ensures that every guest feels recognized and valued. It’s rare to see management so engaged on the floor, reading the room effortlessly and supporting the team while maintaining seamless service flow. Brendhan sets the tone for excellence. The staff mirror his poise and attentiveness, delivering service that is polished yet never pretentious. Timing between courses was impeccable, recommendations were thoughtful, and every interaction felt authentic rather than scripted. Ivy Place is not just a restaurant — it’s an experience defined by its culinary craftsmanship and leadership-driven hospitality. Under Brendhan Kelly’s stewardship, it stands as a benchmark for service excellence in Tokyo. Highly recommended, and absolutely worthy of repeat visits. & Ask for Brendhan! He will make your visit even better with his service & conversation. Thank you Brendhan! Hope to see you again soon! 💯
