We came as a family and ordered the Premium Chef’s Omakase Course—everything was absolutely delicious! From the appetizers to the final rice dish, we enjoyed a beautiful variety of colorful plates showcasing the best seasonal flavors of Ishikawa. The assorted sashimi platter was especially unforgettable—so fresh and beautifully presented, it was honestly a showstopper. The tempura and Noto Wagyu were also outstanding—crispy, rich, and full of flavor. On top of the food, the staff and the chef were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting Ishikawa and want a special meal, I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much!
View on GoogleA flawless dining experience — truly 5 stars Imakoko was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, the service impeccable, and the food — just stunning. Every dish was masterfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of delicate, well-balanced flavors. You can really feel the care and craftsmanship behind each course. While the price is on the higher end, the quality and overall experience absolutely justify it. This is the kind of place that turns a meal into a memory. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined and intimate dining experience in Tokyo.
View on GoogleMy family and I had an amazing dining experience at Imakoko. Our Japanese friend helped us with the booking based on the high rating on a website and it did not disappoint! Service was exceptional and we were greeted by the chef warmly at the start and the wait staff was so friendly. We even had a chat and took photo with the chefs Mr Okado the owner chef was super friendly and passionate about his dishes and where he sourced his ingredients from (his home town). We would love to try his other restaurant Ahora Aqui one day. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. every dish was unique. We had a short course for dinner and added grilled beef and crab. Everything was amazing. We will definitely come back next time when we visit Tokyo and would highly recommend our friends to come experience this hidden gem. Thank you Mr Okado and his team for the lovely experience!!
View on GoogleThis is a small kaiseki restaurant in Shibuya that serves delicious kaiseki-style food. We had the smaller menu which was the perfect amount of food for me but when I go back I'd definitely push the boat out and try the extended menu. All the food was fresh and seasonal and the cooking and presentation really brought out the best flavours. I would never grow tired of this food! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and as well as explaining the menu had time to chat and make us feel welcome. I think this is what makes it such a great experience, not just the skill of the chefs but the atmosphere and interaction with the guests. Can't wait to go back.
View on GoogleI was invited by a friend I met overseas to have lunch at the Japanese restaurant "Imakoko" in Shinsen, Shibuya. The meal featured beautifully presented Japanese dishes, each crafted with seasonal ingredients. Every dish was a delightful experience, perfect for Japan's hot summer, from the fresh and flavorful tomatoes to the chilled somen noodles, hamo (conger eel), and cold corn potage. Each dish was delicate and absolutely delicious. The highlight was the "Yakihassun," a platter so beautifully arranged that it drew a gasp of surprise when it was brought to our table. I’ve posted a photo, so be sure to check it out! We concluded our meal with a refreshing combination of mizuyokan (sweet bean jelly with black beans) and matcha, making for a perfect ending to an exquisite dining experience.
