My first time eating at ICHIRAN was absolutely great. While I had to wait for a bit given its popularity, it was worth it. You can customize almost everything about the bowl of ramen you get: richness of broth, spice level, noodle firmness, garlic intensity, green onions, chashu. This means anyone can have something that fits their palate perfectly. You eat at individual booths with dividers, which is great for introverts or those who just want to eat privately. You don't even need to talk since they have a call button and signs you can show to the staff. You get your own supply of cold tap water too, which was really convenient. The staff were courteous despite being busy and made an effort to communicate well. The ramen itself was one of the best bowls I've had. Since you can customize it, it really fits your own preferences. The tonkotsu broth was rich but not overwhelming, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chashu was tender but not too fatty. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to eat a good bowl of ramen. Expect to wait during peak hours, but it's worth it.
View on GoogleStep into a cozy little space that captures the classic Ichiran vibe perfectly, where the focus is all about the ramen. The bowl arrives steaming hot with noodles cooked just right, soaking up a broth that’s rich, robust, and deeply satisfying. Every slurp delivers that comforting umami punch that makes Japanese ramen so addictive. Simple, authentic, and absolutely delicious.
View on GoogleWe went just before 11am and there was no wait for a seat. It was sooooo yummy and defo a must try when in japan!!! You can choose your broth spicy levels + udon feel etc via the preference sheet. We went as a group so you can still sit together just side by side in your own booth. The staff were very friendly and proactive.
View on GoogleEpic as always. Never disappoints. Best ramen and experience in japan every time. Even Jingumae didnt have a crazy line at 7pm on a thursday. My sister queued up while I ran to the bathroom only to be sent to the back of the line (Japanese fairness!) so we queued again. Both times only took 15 mins. Spicy broth, soft noodles and an egg was perfect
View on GoogleAlthough got a quite long queue, still one of the best ramen ever!! 😆🤤😆🤤 In this picture the ramen might look just ordinary ramen in pork broth. But when you're there, you'll know it's not ordinary ramen 😆😆 don't forget to choose "thick" on your broth/soup choices. And just enjoy!! 😆😆
