We met a friend who lives in Japan who wanted to introduce us to eat at 'Hidezushi Shibuya Branch (英鮨 渋谷店) which I believe is their second branch. This is very close to Shibuya Sramble Crossing. They have three here in Tokyo. This place maybe difficult to find as their sign is not in English but I provided a picture. They have outdoor seating with a plastic cover when it rains or it's windy. This location is busy and their restaurant is not very big; space is tight but doable for a big group but they are limited in Speaking English. They provided an English menu though. We all ordered Sapporo beer. It was a big glass. We also ordered their 32 pcs nigiri variety plate for us. We also ordered tuna toro. I even tried their deep fried sting ray. Weird toast and hard to explain but I enjoyed it. Everything was pretty good and fresh. Prices are decent and our waiter was helpful. Not as friendly as other places we've gone too but then they were busy. Worth a try!
View on GoogleFood: grilled squid was ok because squid was not as fresh as it supposed to be. I loved the crabmeat with crab roe hand roll and steam eggs. The steam eggs has eel/squid in it and it was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend these two dishes. Sushi dinner sets are ok with tuna was chewy and sea urchin wasn’t as fresh as it should be. Service: they hired English speaking staff to assist tourists to order food with English menu. I liked the flyers on the wall though lol Atmosphere: the restaurant has fishy smell when you walk in. But you get used to it after awhile. Seems to be a relaxing place for locals to hang out.
View on GoogleFood and service were absolutely fine. They brought an English menu and the prices were the same as Japanese. We ordered a bunch of pieces from the menu and they were made well. Nothing amazing but for almost midnight we were pleased and full by the time we left. They accept credit card. Keep in mind prices do not include tax
View on GoogleStumble into a little sushi place, always busy, not the top sushi but pretty fresh and they have a huge variety and their set is very inexpensive. The old sushi chef is pretty cool all the other staffs was it train well don’t don’t expect good service.
View on GoogleI have eaten sushi all over the world, including multiple cities in Japan. This is the best ever. Amazing fish, 75 year-old sushi chefs. Granted, I’ve been drinking a little bit, but I don’t think I’m wrong.
