Harry's Sandwich Company is, without question, my favorite sandwich shop in Japan. Founded by Harry Stanwood, a San Francisco native who wanted to bring authentic American-style sandwiches to Tokyo, Harry's has become a beloved destination for locals, expats, and visitors alike. What started as a passion for making great sandwiches has grown into one of Harajuku's true hidden gems. The menu offers an incredible variety of choices, but my personal favorite is their signature Meatball Sub. Made with care and attention to detail, it's everything a great sandwich should be—hearty, flavorful, and completely satisfying. Every sandwich I've tried has been outstanding, and it's clear that quality ingredients and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything they do. The curly fries deserve special recognition as well. Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and dangerously addictive, they're the ideal companion to any sandwich. What truly sets Harry's apart, however, is Harry himself. He is an awesome guy—kind, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about creating a great experience for every customer. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, he makes you feel like a regular. There are many sandwich shops out there, but Harry's Sandwich Company stands in a league of its own. Great food, great atmosphere, and great people. Harry is truly the Sultan of Sandwiches.
View on GoogleAfter a whirlwind day of getting our steps in through Asakusa, Shibuya, and Harajuku, we found ourselves at B-Side Label, just a stone's throw from a sandwich place that my husband had tagged in our Tokyo Planning List. We crossed a street or two, climbed the stairs, and found ourselves in Harry's Sandwich Company - a wonderful place to stop for a drink and a bite! The Pork Cubano and Foggy Mushrooms sandwiches were fantastic. The homemade ginger soda was superb. The atmosphere was very fun - it reminded me of a cross between an American sports bar and an izakaya. I'm so very glad we stopped (and you should, too)!

View on GoogleSmall restaurant, owner been living in Japan for 10 years at the time of this review. Staff can speak English too, fries were crunchy and nice, sandwiches were decent too. Lots of english speaking people come here, real cute.
View on GoogleGreat sandwich restaurant with friendly helpful staff! It's like having dinner at a friend's. Eaten here a number of times. They also do creatively theme dishes for special events so check out their social media for more info.
