Good soba, great experience. This family run restaurant is off the beaten path. Handmade soba noodles offered cold or in a warm broth... we preferred the cold, to our surprise.

Reasonable soba place which is pretty rare in this area. They got enough space for a couple groups. Cash only.

So far my lunch highlight of my Japan trip. Delicious zaru soba are the perfect dinner for a busy, walking heavy Tourist day. Family run, incredibly helpful and kind, and extremely authentic. Cash only, and that's a good sign. Skip all the fancy and overpriced places around cat street, come here.

Handmade soba that's thick and chewy, they give a big portion, and the tempura has a fresh shrimp flavour, wish it was crispier, still delicious.
