An easy to find udon restaurant directly adjacent Scramble Crossing. Portions are large, reasonable flavored broth, and the noodles are very tender. You can order in English too! Great place for a quick lunch or pick me up meal when it’s cold.

Their menu is a lot bigger and ranges in price with optional add-ons like tempura, raw or cooked egg, scallions, and spicy cod roe. What I ordered was very basic, with one of my favorite tempura’s on the side and for me it was greatly filling and refreshing. The udon served here is not overly chewy, offer a well-balanced combination of light broth and noodles. It’s best to mix it well before eating, as it helps the broth and sauce blend together. It’s a great chain restaurant if you’re on a budget or in a hurry.

Hanamaru Udon is one of my go-to for comfort food especially in winter. The udon is simple yet tasty, and the broth is always rich. It’s a perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is quick. Always a great option when craving something warm and filling!
