Ordered both the original and miso-flavored beef tongue, and the miso was even better than the original. Both were nicely chewy. This was my first time trying beef tongue on this Tokyo trip, and overall it was very satisfying. The only downside was that the soup was quite salty. The seating was spacious, and we had a reservation. The set meal came with two small side dishes (one spicy and one non-spicy), a bowl of soup, and dessert. The dessert was a matcha red bean mochi which was good.

Visited on June 12th. The food was decent, but the service was disappointing. After we politely asked about the tea drinks on the menu, one female staff member served our dishes very roughly and seemed unfriendly. Overall, we did not feel welcomed.

Fantastic restaurant in Hikarie Shibuya that specialise in gyutan (beef tongue). The teishoku set were a reasonable price and tasted great. the best was the ox tail soup. Many other gyutan retaurants just give you tiny morsels of the oxtail, but here, the oxtail pieces were chunky deliciousess. Also came with a mochi redbean dessert that was a nice touch compared to their competitors. The karubi steak was also amazingly delicious, especially that sauce. Service was fantastic, and they catered for a pram event though they were busy. They basically gave us a 6 person space even though we only had 2 adults, do we can look after our baby. This pushed the review to 5 stars.

The ox tongue was not as big as I thought, but they were delicious! I ordered 4 pieces of premium ox tongue and 2 pieces of normal size ox tongue. The girl sitting next to me ordered a much bigger plate than me. I totally feel that I will go again and double the portion of the ox tongue I ordered! Definitely recommend to add the yam and egg to the rice! Other than what I have mentioned, the side dishes and the soup were quite bad. The soup was very salty.
