While walking near the Omoide Yokocho area in Shinjuku, we came across this restaurant with an attractive exterior, giving off a traditional Japanese vibe, so we decided to give it a try. Not sure if it’s because we’re tourists, but we noticed a price difference between the English menu and the Japanese menu. We ordered a few skewers and beef tongue. To be honest, the taste was quite average, and the beef tongue was very disappointing—it was extremely tough. So, we quickly finished our small dishes, paid the bill, and went to try another restaurant.
