The environment here is really nice and cozy. What immediately stood out to me was the crowd—there was a great mix of both tourists and local Japanese customers. You always know a small restaurant is genuinely worth trying when the locals eat there too! The food was incredibly delicious and definitely lived up to the hype. Everything was prepared perfectly. I also want to highlight the staff. They were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our meal, making sure we knew exactly how to enjoy the food and that we had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic little spot with amazing food, wonderful service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gyukatsu Motomura (Shibuya Branch) absolutely lives up to the hype. The gyukatsu beef cutlet was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy inside with a light, crispy coating that didn’t overpower the meat. I loved being able to grill the beef to my preferred doneness on the hot stone, which really brings out the flavor. Paired with the rice, miso soup, cabbage, and different dipping options (wasabi, soy sauce, and salt), every bite was satisfying and well-balanced. The staff were efficient and polite, and despite being busy, the service was smooth and well-organized. If you’re in Shibuya and want a must-try Japanese beef dish, this place is definitely worth the wait. ✨🇯🇵👌🏻

One of the best meals I had during my trip to Tokyo! The gyukatsu was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and juicy inside. Cooking each slice on the hot stone at my own pace made the experience even more enjoyable. The different sauces, wasabi, and mentaiko paired perfectly with the beef. And with an ice-cold draft beer, it was simply amazing. The combination of gyukatsu and beer was unforgettable! The staff were friendly, the service was efficient, and the overall dining experience exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Tokyo. Highly recommended!

Gyukatsu Motomura Shibuya Sub-branch completely lived up to the hype for me. The gyukatsu was juicy, and I really liked being able to finish it on the hot stone exactly how I wanted. The sauces added a lot of flavor, too. It can get packed at busy times, but coming back for a quieter visit made the experience much easier and well worth it.

There was a line (as expected) but it moved reasonably quickly so wasn’t bad overall. The food was very good but definitely above average price for the amount and atmosphere. The individual grill to control how cooked you want the steak is both fun and effective. Overall would recommend.
