I LOVE GARLIC GARLIC! So glad we got to enjoy during “garlic season” to taste the specialties. Every dish we tried was full of flavor. We left feeling satisfied and healthy.
View on GoogleLovely Italian-style restaurant! As lovers of garlic, while the garlic cloves in Japan are more mild than we were anticipating, the food was absolutely delicious and the owner's passion for what he does is very apparent! As we only eat halal, we only considered with vegetarian/seafood options and there were quite a few to choose from. We had the garlic toast, garlic peperocino pasta, garlic Margherita pizza, garlic rice and also had the sparkling Apple juice, in-house made Pistachio icecream with garlic jam and the berry Mascarpone ice-cream. Everything was amazing but definitely that garlic toast and pistachio garlic jam icecream were highlights! The garlic rice was nice as it is and while the owner recommended a protein to pair with it, there were no seafood options outside of the entrees and pastas so maybe next time we're in Japan. The owner has a joyful personality and fun conversationalist - turns out he lived in Sydney, Australia for a few months back in the day and we were able to chat about that a bit. Definitely recommend this place, we would have definitely gone again if we had found it before needing to leave Japan in a few days!
View on GoogleGave it another chance and went in with the colleagues. My colleague tried the garlic toast, but i went for garlic potato instead. A much better choice than the toast in my opinion, as the sweet garlic taste is more pronounced. The pepperoncino pasta was a bit plain looking, but the taste was good. Had to put the seasoning by myself and the seafood carbonara was said to be yummy.
View on GoogleVery friendly staff who are proud of their product and truly want people to enjoy themselves and the food. Great menu choices and everything we had was delicious. The garlic toast is a must try!
View on GoogleGarlic focused restaurant, from antipasto to desserts. Everything is delicious. Absolutely worth trying. Good wine selection that goes great with the food menu. Of course the only problem is the garlic breath you will carry all day long but if that’s no problem is a great option if you are looking for something different from average.
