When I asked an ultra-foodie friend in Tokyo for a top-tier restaurant recommendation, they vehemently insisted, "If there is only one place you go, make it this one." With a recommendation that strong, there was absolutely no room for hesitation. I arrived a few minutes before their 12:00 PM opening, securing the pole position. The moment the doors swung open, a steady stream of eager customers poured in right behind me, completely packing the venue to capacity in the blink of an eye. The Menu for the Day: NY-Style Pastrami Sandwich (Regular): ¥2,950 Spare Ribs (Half Portion): ¥3,800 Organic Green Salad: ¥1,100 First and foremost, the pastrami sandwich absolutely blew my mind. The pastrami is stacked in countless, beautiful layers, boasting an unbelievably tender texture that is unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. While its appearance screams pure, indulgent junk food, the balance of saltiness and spice is engineered with micro-precision. Every single bite screams culinary mastery. The spare ribs were equally spectacular—boldly seasoned with a complex, layered aromatic blend of spices. Before I knew it, I had completely abandoned all formalities and was mindlessly devouring them with my bare hands. This is the kind of dish that tastes best when you eat it with pure, primal gusto. The organic green salad was remarkably fresh, offering a flawless counterpoint that beautifully balanced out the rich, heavy meat dishes, allowing me to enjoy the entire feast with zero palate fatigue down to the very last bite. It makes complete sense why my friend championed this place so fiercely. "Revoluntionary" is the only word that truly does justice to this level of deliciousness. Trusting a fellow Tokyo foodie was the best decision I could have made. When you get a recommendation like this, the smartest move is to just listen and go. Thank you for an absolutely unforgettable feast!

The dishes here have a really creative, personal touch. The roasted cauliflower was excellent, and the other side dishes were also quite good. However, the main item — the ribs — was surprisingly difficult to eat. They looked great, but the meat was extremely tough and got stuck in my teeth constantly. I don’t think many people enjoy ribs that chewy. If the restaurant wants to improve them, I honestly think pre-cooking the ribs in a pressure cooker before grilling would help a lot. These are thick ribs, not baby back ribs, so they need more time to become tender. This is just my honest and objective impression after the meal.

Bar none, hands down, absolutely the best pastrami I've ever had-- in America or Tokyo. You get what you pay for and then some, and the music selection on their turntable was immaculate. Come for the food, return for the vibes. If you have a chance to swing by, you can't afford to miss it.

Wow, this was the best meal we had in Japan. The meat, the service, the chef all 10/10. American style food, the pastrami, smoked mackerel and ribs were the highlight here

The best experiences come from walking by a spot hungry and just absolutely hitting a homerun on every single dish. A sensational range of flavours, variety in dishes and a cosy atmosphere. Would really recommend as a escape from the regular Tokyo culinairy journeys
