Eataly Harajuku was a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance and overall vibe of the restaurant were excellent, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal after exploring the area. The food was delicious, with plenty of quality options to choose from. What impressed us most was the staff. They were extremely well-trained, polite, and courteous throughout our visit. As strict vegetarians, we greatly appreciated their efforts in helping us identify dishes that were suitable for our dietary requirements. The location is also very convenient, being close to Meiji Shrine and Takeshita Street, making it an ideal spot for lunch or dinner while sightseeing in Harajuku. Highly recommended for both the food and great hospitality.

I visited Eataly Harajuku expecting authentic Italian food, but unfortunately the experience was pretty underwhelming overall. The biggest disappointment was the pizza. The Diavola looked good at first, but the dough was nothing like proper Neapolitan pizza. It was very thin, lacking the chewy, stretchy texture that makes authentic Neapolitan dough special. The crust also lacked those airy, fluffy edges you would expect from a well-fermented pizza. Instead, it felt flat and somewhat dry. The salami had a decent level of spice, but the pizza itself was average at best. The pasta dishes were decent but not memorable. The Linguine alla Genovese had a pleasant pesto flavor, though it felt heavier and less vibrant than expected. The Linguine al Frutti di Mare was acceptable, but the seafood and sauce did not stand out in any significant way. The Antipasto Misto was probably the most enjoyable part of the meal, with a nice variety of prosciutto, cheeses, bruschetta, and bean salad, though nothing particularly exceptional. Even the cappuccino, while perfectly drinkable, did not leave much impression. Overall, the food was around a 3 out of 5 for me. It is not terrible by any means, but if you are looking for truly authentic Italian flavors or proper Neapolitan pizza, this place may leave you disappointed. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the food itself did not live up to the expectations.

We enjoyed a memorable meal at Eataly Harajuku to celebrate the birthday of my husband, who once used to live in Italy. Feeling tired of Japanese-style Italian food after years of living in Japan, we wanted to dine at a more authentic Italian restaurant, and we found that in Eataly. We ordered the Tagliata Course and the Chef's Tasting Menu Ligurian Course, and all dishes were wonderfully delicious. We were impressed with the "Orata alla Ligure," pan-seared sea bream that was surprisingly rich in flavor. My husband also remarked that Eataly has the best tiramisu in Tokyo so far. We were served by a kind and hardworking staff member who always greeted us with a smile. He was fluent in both Japanese and English. Being greeted happy birthday by all the waiters when they served our dessert plate was a nice touch. One thing to note is that they don't serve big or generous portions of pasta—like Olive Garden or even Yomenya Goemon—because primi is meant to be eaten with antipasto and/or secondi plus dolce to make a full meal, as you would in Italy. Also, their full glass pane windows and outdoor terrace made for a fine view. We would love to come back! 💚🤍❤️

Typical standards of Eataly with the pizza, pasta and tiramisu being the highlight of our dinner. Of course, everyone has their preferences and we did have a good time although parking is not easy on a weekend night.

Absolutely loved this Eataly. The view was really nice. The food was amazing. We had roasted veggies as a starter with some bread, a pizza and pasta as a main and gelato as a dessert. Makes you feel like you’re in Italy. The price is slightly on the higher side for Japan.
