This place has a couple of other sit down locations in Tokyo that I’ve been to and really liked. I saw this place was open and wanted to pop by to get a coffee to go. And it didn’t disappoint. The quality of coffee is still high, and the pour over was done well. This is definitely a place to stop if you’re looking for a drink to go. Service was fast and friendly.
View on GoogleIf you’re an Aussie looking for good coffee in Japan (we all know how much we love our coffee). Go here! We have struggled to find good coffee, finally we found it! Hole in the wall place with delicious coffee and lovely service!
View on GoogleMy order: Café Latte. Creamy until the end. You'd think that's common, but it's not. So for those who get disappointed with bad coffee, the latte won't do that in here. The location. Convenient and practical. You have the city noise and if you're lucky, the suddent heavy rain typhoon-seasoned layer on top. The atmosphere. They managed to make this little spot is cosy: a bench to sit for a short time, a couple of wooden shelfs, a few pastries for the peckish ones that look tasty enough to give a try. The service. It's Japan. They are nice. But the man who is here that prepared my coffee before writing this, was a warming kind of nice. Happy find.
View on GoogleAbsolutely unforgettable experience at Double Tall Coffee Bar in Shibuya! We ordered the El Salvador pour over and were so impressed by its depth and clarity that we ended up buying the beans to take home. A huge shoutout to Maiko, who went above and beyond—she not only wrote down the full recipe for us but also gave us a sample of the grind size to help us recreate the magic perfectly. Her warmth and attention to detail made this visit truly special. This was hands down our favorite coffee experience in Japan. If you're in Tokyo and love coffee, don't miss this gem!
View on GoogleGreat coffee reminiscent of an Australian version of my regular order at home, Double Tall’s friendly owner was the backbone of our holiday in Tokyo. Great start to every day. The best coffee stand taking up the most minuscule space. Loved it.
