This restaurant is truly a gem. My wife and I stumbled upon it by accident and it turned out to be the best Italian meal we've had outside of Italy. The ambiance is perfect and every aspect of dinner was delivered with great attention to detail. The chef studied in Italy for seven years and it was quite apparent in the execution of the food, which surpassed any Italian food we've had in Los Angeles. To make things even better, they had an excellent selection of Italian wines to pair with the food. We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Food and service was good! But water was 500 yen and wasn’t listed anywhere.

A cute-looking shop near Yoyogi-Uehara Station. Visited for a weekday lunch. It looks like a friendly, pleasant master runs the place alone. The pasta comes with salad and bread, and for an extra 1000 yen you also get an appetizer. The pasta seems to vary depending on the sauce, but it looks like you can switch to long pasta. Nothing special, but a nice place where you can eat calmly and chat.

Visited on a Sunday in July 2025 at lunchtime. Even for a side street in Uehara, there were no other customers, which made me wonder, but we took our seats. I thought the quiet was nice. My wife had the A Lunch, and I had the B Lunch, which comes with tea. There was a proper green salad, and the pasta was delicious too. The pasta-of-the-day options for the B Lunch were all +800 yen, which is a pretty big price bump for lunch. When paying, I wondered what the 800 yen x 2 = 1600 yen was, but I figured it must mean a service charge. What I expected to be a little over 3000 yen came to 5500 yen, which I think would surprise anyone who isn't a seasoned adult. There's a gentle-mannered owner who seems to have their own particular standards, a quiet shop, and tasty pasta, so I think it's fine. The billing isn't transparent, so -1☆ for service, but it's average.

For the pasta & salad set, I chose the pasta of the day for +500 yen. The salad was fresh and generous too. The pasta was casarecce, a type you don't often see elsewhere, done farmer-style with the sweetness of tomatoes and loads of vegetables — delicious. Last year I came here with a friend for a birthday lunch and it was really good. Today I had an errand in Yoyogi-Uehara, and these days even a so-so meal elsewhere costs over 1,200 yen, so I came back because I wanted to eat something tasty. Recommended. It's a small place, but on weekdays you can walk in. It's a one-person operation, so you might have to wait a bit sometimes.
