If you’re looking for Tokyo’s best Italian restaurant, this is it. After dining at all of the other recommended/hot Italian restaurants, I can confidently say that Rotondo’s pizzas and pastas are the most authentic. They use ingredients sourced from Italy and Yamanashi (vegetables from this region), and they are also incredibly particular about how they prepare each dish. I recommend the Napolitan style pizzas prepared in a wood fire oven brought over from Italy, and the pasta carbonara made with homemade pasta and guanciale.

Great option if you’re looking for really tasty pasta - probably one of the best I’ve had in Tokyo. Well-balanced flavors, reasonably-priced, and decent selection of wines. Small bistro-feel in a quiet part of Hiroo gives it added character. Expect to pay between 6-8K¥ for a filling dinner and wine. Service is warm and friendly. This will definitely be one of my neighborhood spots!

Excellent service. Amazing food. Had the lunch special where you can either select 2 or 3 of anything on the lunch menu.
