Bio Ojiyan Café in Harajuku turned out to be a lovely little refuge from the rain. We didn’t sit down for a full meal—just ordered hot drinks while waiting for the weather to clear—but the staff welcomed us. The café has that cozy, creative Harajuku charm, and even with a simple drink, the experience felt relaxing and pleasant. A great spot to pause, warm up, and enjoy a bit of calm in the middle of a busy neighborhood.

Hostile services and Very dirty. The guy in the picture's service was beyond the worst. He refused to let me sit in high bar where there were plenty of empty seats available with only person sitting there, but he insisted to sit me at a small corner where was uncomfortable for a tall person like me. I was on the way to walk out until a young female employee stopped him. Avoid this store if you can. I was planning to have a meal when came in, but only ordered a latte instead. The toilet is DEFINITELY THE DIRTEST one that I have been in Japan! The chairs and tables are dirty with all sorts of greasy stains left on. When vintage furnitures are used in Japan where it's quite common, you would found stores would have clean them properly and sanitized them professionally first before utilitize them. I have been visiting Japan 6-8 times every year for years. This was the Worst experience since Japan is famous for friendly service. Being an American, I feel particularly disappointed. I rarely post negative on small business, but today

A Cafe, hard to find the entrance but once inside, it's cosy and comfortable. It wasn't crowded and was a good place to kill time. I forgot to take a photo of the menu so I'm using the old one found on their page. As you see on the photo, I was expecting that but what I got was quite different... 🤣 I don't think it was worth 700 yen, by looks or the amount 😰

This was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The service was unbelievably rude from the start. Simple questions were met with dismissive or misleading answers. We asked if they had water, and instead of a clear response, they tried to push other items they didn’t even properly have. It felt intentionally confusing. It only got worse. They actually charged extra just for ice cubes, which is ridiculous on its own. Then, after we tried to sort things out, the situation became uncomfortable. It genuinely felt like they were trying to prevent us from leaving freely, which crossed a line completely. To top it off, they wanted charges for multiple items we couldn’t even eat or drink. The justification? That we had used the toilet. That’s beyond unreasonable. This place is disorganized at best and dishonest at worst. I would strongly recommend avoiding it unless you want to be overcharged, treated poorly, and leave feeling frustrated.
