The food was delicious and the host was very welcoming.

A good old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant rooted in the local community, located in 不動通り商店街 in 初台. Rather than feeling like the chain restaurants in 初台商店街 or modern yakiniku places focused on specially selected meat, it has an atmosphere and spirit that seem to have been loved by residents here for years. Smoking is allowed and children are welcome, so it seems fairly accommodating; I visited for dinner on a weekend, and both groups there were families. The meat is of decent quality and cooked on a gas-burner grill. The kimchi seems homemade and lightly pickled, while the bibimbap and cold noodles also had comforting, homemade flavors. The elderly owner and his wife run the restaurant, so I really hope they stay healthy and continue keeping it going.

I visited on 2022/4/30 with my wife and my son, aged 3 years and 7 months. We first ordered カルビ, ロース, ハラミ, and 牛ホルモン. Everything was unbelievably delicious!!! The quality can’t be compared with other places. Finally, we ordered 上カルビ. The wagyu fat melted on my tongue like cotton candy. To finish, I had カルビクッパ filled with chunky pieces of karubi meat. Thank you for the meal!

The interior has a calm, somehow nostalgic atmosphere and is comfortable◎. We ate various things, and everything was delicious! Recommended for anyone who wants to take their time enjoying delicious yakiniku in 初台(^_^) Smoking was allowed inside!
