Fast, simple, delicious, consistent, generous portions, reasonably priced. The perfect restaurant. A single set meal is available, rotating each day. You get a meat-based entree with a salad, a vegetable side, pickles, miso soup, and rice. You choose the rice serving size (small, medium, or large; all the same price). A few different rice toppings are available for an additional charge. Some meals we've had there, off the top of my head: ginger pork, cajun chicken, pork chop, hamburg steak, meat with a creamy mushroom sauce. All were very tasty.

Really nice little place to have a quick meal. The restaurant is cheap, the food is awesome and the staff is very friendly. Many locals, mostly office workers and the like go there for a quick lunch. Do not dawdle too much, since it is rather fast paced as the places are limited and you may inconvenience other people by staying for too long. Of course they will not throw you out, maybe not even tell you to hurry up, but I know that in these kinds of places the turnover rate is high exactly because it is targeted for workers at lunch time or people looking for a quick and good bite. There is a different teishoku (basically a set of smaller dishes and a main dish) every day. We had the katsu curry (chicken cutlet with ?selfmade? currysauce). Please do not judge the food by the picture, it was very low quality and not expertly taken. It is just supposed to at least give you an idea of the food, which was really delicious!

As soon as we sat down, our meal was served. (We didn’t realize it was all customers served the same meal today) The food looked fantastic and tasted even better! This was the best fish I have ever eaten!! If I lived in Tokyo, I would be a regular customer. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Walked in with a friend at lunchtime looking for a set meal. It seemed that there was only one thing they were serving that day. When we sat down, they only asked how much rice we wanted and everyone got the same tray in the restaurant. My friend and I had no idea what we were getting but we were highly surprised at just how good it was. It was like my mom had just cooked up a home-cooked meal right there in the kitchen. Great service and great food. Highly recommended.
