I had been curious about this place for a long time and finally made it. We ordered the popular mentaiko uni asari shimeji and bacon vegetables. The kind owner told us it would take a little time for 2 people. He explained what he recommended and which options would be quicker. We ordered the dinner sets and chose soup, boiled frankfurter, and mini salad. The salad also had apple in it and tasted somehow nostalgic; the soup and frankfurter were delicious too. The popping mentaiko, clam broth, and uni mingled together, and I finished it in no time. The bacon vegetables had Japanese-style seasoning and were delicious too. The pasta portions were generous, and we were very satisfied. We ordered exactly the same menu on our 2nd visit, so I am already looking forward to deciding what to order next time.
View on GoogleTwo of us visited around 12:35 on Sunday. We were seated immediately, but were told the food would take time. The owner runs everything alone, so naturally orders are handled in sequence. His polite, clear responses echoed through the counter-only shop and startled me a little, but it was probably out of consideration to make the guidance easy to understand. He struck me as cheerful and energetic. Around 12:50, we received water and could order. The lunch set was 1000円, with 1 choice from the pasta menu, mini salad or boiled frankfurter on the side, and soup or coffee. We ordered tarako uni asari shimeji pasta and tarako uni shimeji bacon pasta, both with frankfurter and soup. On the table were basil and parsley in masu boxes, powdered cheese, powdered garlic and salt, ichimi chili, and small bottles of Tabasco. Around 13, the frankfurter and soup arrived. The frankfurter had a smooth texture reminiscent of fish sausage, topped with sweet vinegar-soy sauce. It tasted like it would go well with drinks. The soup was consommé with wakame. Around 13:10, the long-awaited pasta arrived. The bacon stood out more than the clams, so I recommend it. The portion was normal or slightly small for me. Larger portions apparently cost extra. If I could request one thing, since the overall flavor is Japanese-style, I would appreciate soy sauce among the table condiments. Eating without background music suddenly reminded me of being treated to lunch at a friend's house as a child. It is home cooking eaten in an atmosphere that feels both relaxing and not quite relaxing. I gave it 3 stars. That may seem harsh, but these are a glorious 3 stars for an everyday meal that says, “This will do; this is what I like.” It feels like a familiar flavor to drop in for on an ordinary sunny day. There seem to be many regulars too. I paid with せたPay. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI have visited several times for weekday lunch. The lunch set is affordable at 1,000円 for a large pasta, mini salad, and soup. There are only 7 counter seats, so it may not suit large groups. The owner works alone, so it takes a little time, but the pasta is always delicious. At lunchtime it depends on timing, but if a seat is available, you are seated without waiting, and food takes about 15 minutes. The owner is easy to chat with, making for a pleasant visit.
View on Google★Lunch set ¥900 ・Mentaiko uni asari shimeji ・Boiled frankfurter ・Iced coffee It has been a while since I found such incredibly delicious spaghetti! Perfectly al dente, and the sauce is simply delicious. Fantastic. I regret not coming sooner. I ordered the most popular dish, and it was so delicious that I cannot move on to anything else. Haha. I am not that fond of mushrooms, so I wondered whether shimeji would work, but the slightly sweet shimeji add a lovely flavor. In this day and age, I am so grateful for this lunch set price. He runs it alone and seems very particular about his cooking, so it takes time. It is a popular counter-only shop, so allow plenty of time and leave promptly once you have eaten.
View on Googleすぱろう, featured in the Chitose-Karasuyama and Sengawa special in 世田谷ライフ magazine It is on the right along the way from Chitose-Karasuyama's Mos Burger toward Koshu Kaido. Open since 1977. A Showa-style, counter-only coffee shop There are standalone pasta dishes, a lunch set for 900円, and a dinner set for 1200円. Lunch includes salad or boiled sausage, soup or coffee, and your choice of pasta. For dinner, choose 3 from salad, soup, a drink, and boiled frankfurter. I chose the most popular pasta: mentaiko uni shimeji asari. The portion is bigger than it looks, and you can get an even larger serving for 100円. The uni aroma and mentaiko's little beads. A flavor that makes you want to lick up every last bit of sauce. The owner is polite and has a lovely voice. A very comfortable shop. I will come again Also, せたペイ was accepted. It seems unrelated to Jack Sparrow
