Charming vegan café - deep within the small streets of Tōkyō. Worth the Uber ride thru town. Two tables inside, and a bit more seating outside. Service staff were so kind and friendly-spoke English and gave bakery recommendations as there were so many amazing items to choose from. We got the soup/salad/bread combo for lunch-which gave you the choice to pick a bread. My husband chose the salted bread roll with seaweed-don’t question just order it! It came warm and was lightly crusty on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. I could have eaten 6 of them easily. 😂 I choose the chocolate croissant-obviously. Beautifully crafted, flaky and delicious. The soup of the day was a creamy turnip onion and the mixed green salad, light and fresh. We also tried a crispy coconut oatmeal cookie, that was particularly delicious dipped in my soy latte. 10/10 recommend…the only downside was we couldn’t try it all. So thankful we made it a point to check this place out during our first trip to the area! Arigatou!

This location is tucked away in the quiet of a residential neighborhood. There are so many options here for someone looking to try baked goods that Japan is known for. We arrived just after 1430 on a Saturday and the selection was still great, though some items were already sold out for the day. Absolutely delicious pastry, cannot wait for my next visit.

Amazing little Vegan cafe in a lovely neighbourhood! I fell in love with this place - the food is incredible and staff friendly. We sat outside (it was a warm November day) and enjoyed the very tasty food and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone to try here, it was a highlight for us 🙂

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible experience. First and foremost, the flavors instantly transported my wife back to her childhood in Rome — especially the large puff-pastry style pastry, which reminded her of mandorla from growing up there. That alone made this visit special. The puff pastry itself was unbelievably fluffy — honestly like eating a cloud. Every bite was rich, decadent, and completely satisfying, yet somehow still light and not heavy at all. It’s rare to find that balance, and they nailed it perfectly. The donuts were divine. Truly. If you didn’t tell someone they were vegan, they would never know. The texture was perfect — soft, rich, and satisfying — and the chocolate with almonds was honestly a 10/10 (I’d give 10 stars if I could). Everything tasted indulgent without feeling heavy, which is rare even in non-vegan bakeries. They’re lucky we don’t live down the street anymore, because we would absolutely be here every day — and twice on Sunday. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was impeccable. Normally my wife (who is fully fluent in Japanese) handles things for us here, but I came alone with my daughter. They were incredibly kind while I tried my beginner Japanese, then seamlessly switched into perfect English. As an English teacher with 15 years of experience, I can confidently say their English was also 10/10. This place should be on everyone’s must-visit list in Shimokitazawa. Honestly, if there were a donut competition in the U.S., they would easily win — and if it were a vegan category on top of that, they’d take home first place without question. We will definitely be back.

INCREDIBLE bakery and cafe in a quiet and comfortable area in Tokyo. Everything here is made to perfection and you can tell the second you walk in. There is indoor and outdoor seating and tons of options for all food preferences. The staff are very friendly as well. Definitely one of my favorite bakeries in all of Japan!
