Everything I’ve had here has been excellent!
View on GoogleOnly a course menu is available at lunch, with a choice of 3 meat mains and 1 fish main(2,200円)
View on GoogleVisited for Saturday lunch. The appetizer was full of vibrant colors that cheered me up just looking at it. It even came with soup!! Each appetizer was carefully prepared, with deep flavors. The main was duck confit, with crispy skin and genuinely gentle, delicious flavors in both the meat and sauce. That day's dessert was black bean panna cotta. The fragrant bean flavor stood out, and it was more delicious than I imagined. It seemed like a place I wouldn't tire of even if I ate there every day. I'd like to return.
View on GoogleReturned after a long time for Saturday lunch. I hadn't reserved and walked in just before 13:00; it felt like I just barely got an available table. We ordered the lunch course with an appetizer, main, dessert, and tea. The base price is 2,200円, with an extra charge depending on the main you choose. I think the hamburg steak in the photo was +400円. I get the impression this type of restaurant is surprisingly uncommon around here. The interior is warm and the atmosphere relaxing. It feels very much like a casual neighborhood French restaurant, the kind you'd be happy to have nearby.
View on GoogleI had duck confit and Riesling with the mini lunch course. The appetizer was very delicious! Especially the mushrooms in the terrine? Their texture was enjoyable and nice. It wouldn't be surprising if this alone cost around 1000円. The duck leg confit+bread was disappointing. Maybe it's because I don't understand delicate flavors and don't go to bistros much. It was dry like overcooked fish, and lightly flavored too. There was little sauce, and I couldn't feel much difference whether it was there or not. I like duck ham, so I imagined something juicy, but if it's like this, wouldn't ordinary chicken thigh be better? The bread is chewy and substantial, so if pairing it with bread or alcohol, shouldn't the flavor be stronger or the sauce more generous…? The accompanying vegetables fried without batter were delicious. The Riesling may be a matter of preference, but despite costing over 1000円 a glass, it tasted like a bottle costing around 1000円. It was quite acidic too, and I felt it didn't suit the food. The dessert and black tea were delicious, but… the tea's astringency had collected at the bottom. The cinnamon and ginger cake was a pie with substantial pastry. It was heavy as a dessert; I thought it was more the kind of sweet you'd eat when ordering just one item at a café. Maybe I would have been satisfied with a different main.
